Start with a monthly calendar and a few events. You can change the layout after you understand the date and print settings. MonthSprig works without an account; local project saving belongs to the browser and device you are using.
1. Choose the calendar and its dates
Open the monthly calendar editor. Select the month and year you want, then choose Monday or Sunday as the first weekday. The supported date range is 1900–2100. Read the month title and the first and last dates in the preview before adding events.
You can also begin on a month page, such as March 2027, and open that month in the editor. The paper size, orientation and week start are settings of the same calendar. You do not need to find a separate template for each combination.
2. Add one event
Choose Add an event, enter a title and select its start date. For a single-day event, keep the final date on the same day. For a longer event, enter the last day you want included. An optional time label can appear beside the title, but it does not define a time zone or reminder.
For a clear first example, add Project kickoff on March 8, 2027, or add your own date. Review the date box after saving. Add a second event that spans several days so you can see how the preview handles a longer entry.
3. Choose the page
Select A4 or Letter, then portrait or landscape. Review the title, notes, event legend, margins and text density. Check the day with the most text, not only the empty parts of the calendar. If it is crowded, shorten a label or choose a layout with more room.
Switching the editor to a dark theme does not turn the printable sheet dark. The default print page remains white. Use the preview to check the actual paper appearance, and choose the output color setting you intend to use.
4. Download or print
Open the download options. PDF is the arranged document for printing; PNG is an image of the calendar. Event CSV is a table of event data, and ICS is a date-based calendar file. Print calendar opens the separate print view without site navigation or advertisements.
Review the output summary and the downloaded file. For several pages, check the complete date sequence and page count. If an export is still running, wait for its completion or cancel it; cancelling should leave the editable project available.
5. Keep an editable copy
Save the project locally, then download its JSON backup if you want a separate editable copy. A PDF or image does not replace that project file. Reopen the saved project from My projects, or import a MonthSprig JSON file and review it before confirming restoration.
If local storage is unavailable, keep the editor open while you download a backup. Do not rely on a save message that reports a failure. When you finish, name the project and files clearly so you can tell this version from an earlier calendar.
