A common year beginning on Friday
The 2027 calendar has 365 days, beginning and ending on Friday. February has 28 days and starts on Monday. A dated February 29 event is invalid in this year; a yearly leap-day recurrence is skipped rather than shifted to another date.

Use both compact and six-row months
February uses four Monday-first rows, while May needs six rows with either week start. January and October also require six rows with Sunday first. A year layout should accommodate those real differences without hiding dates to make every month look identical.
Choose a year overview when you want to see major dates together. Use detailed monthly pages when you need room for individual events and notes. Match the paper and orientation before setting the density, then inspect the complete output rather than only the first page.
Review December with the next holiday year in mind
Christmas Day falls on December 25, with December 24 observed in the standard federal schedule. December 31, 2027 is also the observed date for New Year’s Day 2028. The latter entry belongs in this calendar’s December grid even though its holiday year is 2028.

Keep the year editable
Save the calendar as a local project and download a JSON backup before making a version for another year. Reuse the layout choices that still work, but review every one-time event and repeated rule. A title change alone does not update the dates inside a project.
