A twelve-month example containing leap day

The example runs from August 2027 through July 2028 and contains 366 dates. Its February is February 2028, including February 29. You can change the starting month to match your own course or planning period; the example does not assert an official school timetable.

The twelve months in order

Read the first and final month before editing. The academic editor keeps a twelve-month sequence from the start you choose; it does not repeat a month to fill a visual template.

Review December 31 as well as January 1

The standard observed date for New Year’s Day 2028 is December 31, 2027, while the holiday itself is January 1, 2028. Both dates sit inside this example range. Keep the actual/observed labels clear and verify your institution’s own arrangements before treating either one as a closure.

Keep the full sequence through July

The example finishes with July 2028, which needs six calendar rows with either week start. Inspect the last page as carefully as the first. A calendar with a clear August page can still need more space for July’s final dates, long labels or continuing events.

Add events, then check all pages

Start with one single-day event and one longer span so you can check the date-entry convention. The end date includes the final day. If you import CSV, use YYYY-MM-DD dates and review every invalid or duplicate row before confirming; the existing project stays unchanged during the review.

Set the paper, orientation, margins and density, then inspect the full twelve-month preview. Use PDF for a complete multi-page document and keep a JSON backup for later editing. A dark editor still uses a white print page by default. Read the last page and any cross-year event before downloading the final copy.
