A twelve-month example you can change

The example runs from August 2026 through July 2027. It contains 365 dates across the two calendar years. This is a useful starting range, not a claim about when a particular school begins or ends its terms. Choose a different first month in the academic editor when your own planning year requires it.

The twelve months in order

Read the first and final month before editing. The academic editor keeps a twelve-month sequence from the start you choose; it does not repeat a month to fill a visual template.

Check the two sides of January

Read December 2026 and January 2027 together when adding a break or trip. Keep the complete event range if it crosses the year boundary. The February in this example is February 2027, which has 28 days; a February 29 entry must be corrected rather than squeezed into the grid.

Holiday coverage for this range

The example’s dates fall within the reviewed 2026–2028 U.S. federal collection. That coverage does not supply school terms, local closures or exam dates. Add those from your own institution’s current information and keep their labels separate from the federal source entries.

Add events, then check all pages

Start with one single-day event and one longer span so you can check the date-entry convention. The end date includes the final day. If you import CSV, use YYYY-MM-DD dates and review every invalid or duplicate row before confirming; the existing project stays unchanged during the review.

Set the paper, orientation, margins and density, then inspect the full twelve-month preview. Use PDF for a complete multi-page document and keep a JSON backup for later editing. A dark editor still uses a white print page by default. Read the last page and any cross-year event before downloading the final copy.
