A leap year with 366 dates
The 2028 calendar has 366 days. January 1 is a Saturday and December 31 is a Sunday. February has 29 days, ending on Tuesday. Keep February 29 in every applicable year, quarter or academic view rather than reusing a 28-day February layout.
All twelve months
Each month below has its own real date grid and editable monthly page. The row counts compare Monday-first and Sunday-first layouts; they describe how the dates fit, not different calendars.
| Month | Days | Starts on | Rows: Monday / Sunday |
|---|---|---|---|
| January | 31 | Saturday | 6 / 6 |
| February | 29 | Tuesday | 5 / 5 |
| March | 31 | Wednesday | 5 / 5 |
| April | 30 | Saturday | 5 / 6 |
| May | 31 | Monday | 5 / 5 |
| June | 30 | Thursday | 5 / 5 |
| July | 31 | Saturday | 6 / 6 |
| August | 31 | Tuesday | 5 / 5 |
| September | 30 | Friday | 5 / 5 |
| October | 31 | Sunday | 6 / 5 |
| November | 30 | Wednesday | 5 / 5 |
| December | 31 | Friday | 5 / 6 |
Check six-row months without reducing their dates
January and July need six rows with either week start. April and December need six with Sunday first, and October needs six with Monday first. Check those months and any long event labels before printing a complete set of monthly pages.
Choose a year overview when you want to see major dates together. Use detailed monthly pages when you need room for individual events and notes. Match the paper and orientation before setting the density, then inspect the complete output rather than only the first page.
Keep observance and coverage boundaries clear
New Year’s Day is January 1, 2028, but its standard observed date was December 31, 2027. Veterans Day is November 11, with November 10 observed. The reviewed collection ends with holiday year 2028; a project extending into 2029 needs a visible coverage limitation.
The optional U.S. federal collection is not an official school, state or workplace schedule. Leave it off for a blank calendar, or keep its source and date-role labels visible alongside your own events.
Keep the year editable
Save the calendar as a local project and download a JSON backup before making a version for another year. Reuse the layout choices that still work, but review every one-time event and repeated rule. A title change alone does not update the dates inside a project.
