Choose the quarter and year
Select January–March, April–June, July–September or October–December in a year from 1900–2100. Read the three month headings and inspect their actual date grids. A quarter containing February 2028 includes the leap day.
Focus on the dates you need together
A quarterly page works well for milestones, periods away and dates that influence more than one month. Keep supporting details in notes or a weekly plan. Add a clear label to a longer event and preserve its full dates when only part of the span appears in the selected quarter.
Check the smallest month grid
Choose paper and orientation, then inspect the month that needs the most rows. Keep every date visible and shorten nonessential event labels before reducing text too far. Colors can help, but the legend and labels should make sense without them.
Keep the overview and its source
Download a printable PDF or calendar PNG, or export event CSV/ICS for the dates. Keep a local project and JSON backup for further edits. When copying the plan for another quarter, review event dates and optional holiday coverage instead of changing only the title.
