Start with month, day and a name
Enter the recurring date and a name or short label you recognize. A reusable birthday sheet does not need a person’s full birth date or age. Add only the information the calendar needs, particularly if the finished page will be shared.
Choose yearless or dated
A yearless view keeps the month and day without claiming a weekday. A dated view places the entries into a real year. Select an actual year or date range before producing a date-based ICS file; a calendar-app event cannot rely on an unspecified year.
Keep leap-day behavior clear
A yearless layout preserves February 29. In a dated leap year, the event can appear on that date; in a non-leap year, the yearly occurrence is skipped. MonthSprig does not silently move it to February 28 or March 1. Add a separate celebration date when that is your own plan.
Keep the list editable
Review months with several names and check labels at the final paper size. Download PDF or PNG for the arranged calendar, CSV/ICS for date-based entries, and JSON for the editable project. Save locally and keep a separate backup before moving devices or clearing browser data.
